On December 28th, Tes Models and Irina Vanyan organized a small catwalk show for the SMEDA close project event. Armenian designers and brands such as Vahan Khachatryan, Aram Nikolyan, LOOM Weaving, Sončess, RUZANĒ, Nelly Serobyan, Petoor Naghash, Anna Mirzoyan, Ellasi, Jhangirian, ZGEST were happy to participate and show their clothes and accessories.

RUZANE - Ruzane’s clothes are chic, sophisticated but also casual and boho. Collections are designed for a sophisticated dresser with strong individuality and meticulous attention to details.SONCESS - SONCESS create unique collections of ready-made clothes with particular focus on casual and luxury casual styles, inspired by free spirit and aspiration to be different. Character created by SONCESS is bold, distinct and eternal creature that is not afraid to transform herself, to experiment or to create. Aram Nikolyan - Aram Nikolyan creates clothing that gets along with today's fashion while using the rich culture of Armenia and its traditions. The uniqueness of the garments that Aram Nikolyan designs are inspired by his motherland. LOOM Weaving - Manukyan sisters, who are also the founders of the brand have created a collection that imbues the antique practice of embroidery stitched by hand with a modern and luminous style, which is bold at intervals. A wardrobe with a practical and elegant spirit, where every garment is a unique piece. VAHAN KHACHATRYAN - Born and raised in Yerevan, Armenia, Vahan is heavily inspired by the artistic heritage of his grandfather, a painter. Already a point of reference on the Armenian fashion panorama, the brand stands out for its exclusive outfits where the excellence of the quality and design is magnified by meticulous attention to detail.  Z.G.EST - Zero Gravity Established proposes comfortable and inviting clothing capable of transmitting the feeling of zero gravity. A young, successful brand on the Armenian market, the collections are distinguished by their smart style, innovative design proposals and research into the shirt as a key element.  Nelly Serobyan - Nelly launched her eponymous label in 2014 after graduating from the Armenian Academy of Fine Arts and the Slava Zaitsev fashion house in Moscow. She is inspired by Art, especially modern art, which she likes to combine with classical elements to form trendy, casual or formal looks for women with a high sense of creativity. Naghash - “Nagash" is an old Armenian word which means painter or miniaturist. Those Armenian miniatures have inspired the designers. One of the firsts ideas was to produce shirts with the colorful artwork of Martiros Saryan. Today, the brand creates all segments starting from unique shirts up to winter coats while being affordable for everyone. Jhangirian -“Jhangirian's Philosophy consists of dreaming, breaking norms and creating a clan." Jhangirian’s aim was to prove that quality is not always dependant on numbers. The main message that Narek brings is equality, which he’s pioneering throughout the industry. Petoor - Founded in 2016, Petoor, which means "feather" in Armenian, is a brand for women that creates pajamas and dressing gowns, equally good, both for sleeping and for walking. The prêt-à-porter brand also has its separate shoe and silver accessories lines. Anna Mirzoyan - In 2017, the designer launched her eponymous label. She applies different techniques and uses handmade items creating modern and original collections of clothes and accessories, inspired by modern art. Ellasi - The brand «Ellasi» represents a mixture of traditions and fashion as an imprescriptible part of modern women’s everyday life. They use high-grade natural materials, components, and Italian accessories while making shoes. “Ellasi” strives for the woman’s self-confidence. And it is a woman who is scrupulous when it comes to details.
