Fashion Start-up from Nagorno-Karabakh

GIZ Armenia supports the women in the textile and fashion industry displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh. Karina Petrosyan, Arina Avetisyan, and Anahit Mnatsakanyan decided to continue their favourite work in Yerevan and since January 2024 joined the support program for start-up entrepreneurs by the Fashion and Design Chamber, which aims to aid the companies operating in fashion, textile, and design or related fields to re-launch their activities. At Siroon կար workshop-showroom Karina Petrosyan brings together the crafts of women displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh under one roof, offering women's and children's clothing, bedding, tablecloths, and custom sewing services. Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ)
